My grocery store is offering fresh Alaska King Crab legs for sale this weekend. Ive never bought or prepared it but would love to try an easy recipe. The legs are fresh not frozen but already cooked, if that makes a difference. Also, how much would I buy to feed two people? The recipe can be an appetizer or entree or just something that brings out the natural flavor of the crab. I am excited to try the best recipe! Thanks!

We just eat them simply. Usually 2 legs, depending upon size, are plenty per person.

Rig up a steamer (or have your store do it for you) and just steam them to warm them up. Then serve w/ melted butter, maybe a squeeze or two of lemon. We find kitchen shears do a better job of getting into the shells than "crackers" do...

How lucky! King crab is so sweet & delicious, I would keep the recipes simple. The amount depends on how much crab you will eat (ask the fish guy, but usually about 2 KC legs a person). Also less if you have alot of other sides. But my 5 yr old will eat at least 3 legs by himself!

Keep it very simple to make the most of the crab. For a hot main dish dip it in melted real butter. For a cold appetizer, dip it in real mayonnaise. A sprinkle of fresh lemon juice is optional in either case.
