I'm on my second cup. I call it, lovingly, the "Eighth Sacrament"

Nope. If you find god in anything, you're not an atheist.

However, if you find god in coffee, enjoy yourself! It makes as much sense as any other theology, and more importantly, it means if I come over to visit you'll have a decent roast to serve.

By the way... love the rug. It really ties the room together. Be careful you don't spill anything on it!

God can speak to anyone at anytime, even while drinking coffee. Some people choose not to follow God, even after He shows Himself to them. So yes, even if you take your coffee with cream and sugar, they can still be an atheist!

You can't come to father without the son, which appears on toast:

Yet the apostates drink decaf...

But, I guess you can.

Oy vey! I need more coffee today, I need a spiritual experience right now.

Coffee is probably the closest thing I'll ever have to a God. If I don't have it every morning I think I'm going to die.

I think you would half to call it a religion, though, because coffee is a crutch, just like God.

Not where I work. You can use the cofee to dissolve nails, though. I guess that would have been considered a miracle back in the day.
