theres this guy at a homecoming football game who i really liked and when i first met him, he high fived me and asked what school i went to. the next week, i said, " oh, you're the guy from homecoming, right?" he said," I don't know you". that confused me a lot. does he not like me, or is this his way of playing hard to get? i really hope to see him again.

He was just being nice...not hard to get. Look for someone else.

He was probably just being friendly like someone saying hey to you walking down the street. Chances are they wont remember you a week later. I think you're reading too much into it especially seeing as how you only spoke a few words to him at a crowded homecoming game. If you see him again, ignore him and maybe he'll come talk to you.

You didn't make a lasting enough impression for him to remember you...

your statement should have been."Oh,hi, we met at the homecoming football game, you go to ( name of school), right?"

He is playing hard to get ,so what you do is do the same don't show him you care and when he is around ask as if you have forgotten him as well.
