kinda 1 reason he is not my type is that he kinda has an acne problem on his face but it is starting to clear up.

Give him a chance. He is already your friend - a great place to start a relationship.

Yup definately give him a chance, it's a nice change to know that young guys actually want to get to know you better. Don't worry about your type b/c it will all change when you get older. I used to be attracted to big muscle meahead types (no offence guys lol) and i ended up marrying a tall skinny smart sweethear who treats me like a princess everyday. So I'd say go for it, take your time and be confident!

Well that's a tough one! If you have a friendship that you dont wont to lose then I would recommend not taking it another step. Ecspecially if he is not your type. But a lot of wonderful relationships become from friends so if you both feel the flames then I would give it a shot. Good luck in love.

Give him a chance. You haven't got anything to lose right? And maybe when you get to know him better he'll turn out to be your type anyway.

Well I think it is good for both of you to give each other a chance to know each other better before developing in to couples

give him a chance, get to know him better as well. even if you've known him for a year, I'm pretty sure there are still some things that you don't know about him so why not?

if you like him enough his acne wouldn't matter and that is something that can be fixed and you can look past it. whats to loose by giving this guy a chance? you never know how you might feel later.maybe the more you get to know him the more you can look past his flaws. good luck

if he's already told you this and you still hang out with him and have not told him off yet then he is your type to some extent. you haven't gone running for the hills nor told him it doesn't interest you so some part of you must be interested. I would just take it slow and see, maybe he'll grow on you.

Sometimes Mr. Right is your bff and/or someone who isn't your type. Give it a shot, you never know what will happen if you don't take a chance on potential happiness
