I am very sure that I will not have to endure the tribulation. I will be raptured out of here. If you read Revelations, you will notice that there is no mention of the church after chapter 5 and before the tribulation begins. Because the church has been called home to be with our Lord and Savior. I would never accept the mark, I would not exchange my eternal home for anything. I cannot wait to see my Jesus and praise him all the day long.

I will no longer be here when that event arrives, but if I was I would not take it.
Do you know that there is a VERY LARGE group of people world wide who join in thought/prayer every Friday evening to try and create the opportunity for the Antichrist to arrive, said activity being sponsored by an outfit called the Lucis Trust (formerly named the Lucifer Trust), that publish the works of Alice Bailey?
I have fought against the machinations to drag people away from the true path for some years now. No mark for me!

For those who are left behind, the "mark" will be a computer chip, implanted in either the right hand or the forehead. This chip is used for a dual purpose. The first one is to worship the beast. And the second purpose is for food, drink, shelter, etc. Anyone who refuses to take the mark will die by the sword.
Revelation 13:15, "And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed."
Revelation 13:17, "and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name."

I wouldn't take the mark. As we know, the end is coming near. God's time is not our time so the end times could last 1000 years. We are already experiencing many of the warning signs of the end times and I believe this mark is already being accepted. When people compromise their beliefs in order to get financial gain, you are accepting Satan's offer to provide for you in exchange for deserting God. Look at our economy these days and I'm sure you'll see the same.

No, I wouldn't. I would probably be tempted to pack up my truck, my gun, and as many supplies as it could carry...load up my kid and my dog, and run straight for the least populated place I could find to wait for the end. I wouldn't be afraid for myself necessarily but my child is so young that I would be concerned that he would take the mark because he doesn't know better so I'd want to keep him away from it.
Now if he was NOT left behind or if he was a little older and understood what was happening, I'd like to think that I would be willing to risk execution to spread the word to others and, if necessary, even take up arms to fight against the beast in God's army (assuming that's allowed).
In any case, my one desire is to be ready "for such a time as this" to do whatever God would demand of me...his will be done and if that is that I would die for my beliefs, so be it...if he wants me to fight, I'm prepared to do that too.

I won't be left behind, but if the rapture didn't happen and the church is left to endure the tribulation (which I don't believe) I would let them kill me before I would take the mark of the beast! I would not sell my eternal soul for a few minutes, days, years of comfort in this world!

I am not clear about "rapture" and what actually happens. There seems to be some differing ideas. I am not going to be here that much longer and so I don't think or worry about it.

If you are a true believer in the gospel of OUR salvation (the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as the assurance of your having been reconciled to God) then you will never have to face this dilemma. You will be raptured long before the mark of the beast is offered.
We are to be telling folks about the GRACE of God that is being offered TODAY! Those who "miss the rapture" will be those UNBELIEVERS who have already rejected Gods free offer of imputed righteousness and forgiveness.

I think (and I mean no offense by this) you need to go back and read Revelation. We are going to be here to see the tribulation- you, my friend are going to have people try to persuade you to take the mark. It tells us very clearly that we are not going to be raptured away & relieved from all tribulation the world will be going through. I love Jesus & cannot wait for His return. It will surely be glorious!

You know they will torture your love ones(if they get left here) in front of you to make you take the mark? Accept Christ now and repent . The end of the world as we know is at hand. Praise the LORD.
