You need to grow up first.
Then come back and ask an intelligent question.

FORCE 21 is a term to describe the direction the Army is going. It refers to our technology's contribution to the ground fighting force. Another words, we are all Force 21 Soldiers

Um ... I'm gonna try to be nice here. First, do some research. SF is a seprate from Rangers (yet, they both fall under SOCOM). I understand recruiters are taking soldiers in under the presumption that they can complete SF training and can get assignment to an SF unit. However, the training is difficult at best and depending on your MOS (one of the 18 series)you might not make it (even if you complete Q course and Assessment). My suggestion, if you want to join ... join. See how you like the military fiorst before making a decision to try to win a beret after your standard issued one.

You don't join Delta, they pick you. If you are strong enough to make it through Ranger School, good for you, but they aren't special forces. You have a long road ahead of you. Good Luck.

Me too, on the "trying to be nice" thing... You need to break the image in your head of the recruiter jumping up and down with glee becuase you've finally walked into his office to take your spot with our elite special forces. It just doesn't work that way. In all the military branches, your newest servicemen and servicewomen start at the bottom and prove themselves every single step of the way. If you want to try to qualify for special forces, that's something you'll need to work for and earn starting in boot camp!

Rangers are not SF there tough guy. You cannot join SF until you have served one tour and you dont get to sign up for Delta either, once you are in an SF group, if they want you, they will recruit you.

Joint the army first, and THEY will determine if you are good enough when you are in boot camp. If your recruiter guaranteed you a spot in special forces, he was not being totally honest.
