No. In no way does being good qualify you for a eterinity with Jeus in heaven. You must know Him and have an intimate relationship with Him. Check out what Matthew 5: 21-23 says:

21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

Depends on what you mean by "good person". Are you talking about being "mostly good" or are you talking about being "perfectly good". Sorry, but good isn't a majority rules kind of thing. If you add even one drop of black to white, it becomes gray...even one drop of "bad" is enough to keep a person from being "good". Personally, I don't think any person can be perfectly good...we all make mistakes that tarnish our "purity"...and heaven is a place of pure, perfect good. Even one drop of "bad" would make it less than perfect and thus, can't be allowed to enter.

So my answer is yes and no...if you can be perfectly good, then yes, that would be enough to enter heaven...but God made it pretty clear that none of us can achieve perfection...thus, being a "mostly good" person, is not enough to enter heaven.

No. Being a "good person" can be too loosely based on individual morality. If such a thing were possible, Jesus' life and death were a needless waste! We have to conform to God's salvation plan and adjust our "morals" to fit it NOT for making Mom and Dad happy, but to save our immortal soul from Hell! The Scripture says "Faith WITHOUT WORKS (proving oneself for the sake of God) is dead...." Conversely, works (charity and etc.) are dead without faith (charity being performed out of a love of God, not just for the praise one would get from their fellow man)......

Yes God sends us in this world only and only for testing our soul. We either pass test and get in heaven for good life there or get burned in hell. I would prefer eternal life in heaven than this short life on this planet. Not much is good in this life any way.

Thankfully no. Because how good does a person have to be? Where is the standard? I believe it to be perfection, not just good deeds out weighing the bad. and how do we get perfection? We are declared righteous by having faith in Jesus Christ.

Goodness is truly a quality of nature of self; and neither a habbit or behaviour of self.

The qualities of nature of self in self; drives the self habbitually to perform prepratory actions of preparing the self for meeting situations outside; and the self uses these habbits as the basis of that knowledge of his self by which he can behave accordingly to meet situations outside.

To go to heaven one needs to ensure that more than his self; or the habbits, actions, knowledge, and behaviour of his self; the naure of self; which is the driving force of all sentiments, emotions, feelings, thoughts of self in the self ; is truly driven by and with the good qualities of good nature in self; which only will ensure that the habbits, actions, knowledge, and behaviour of self is also driven with goodness of the good nature of self.

Goodness has to be flowing out from the eyes, finger tips., fingers, and palms of self as the light energy and the energy of self; only then the self can be assured of doing good work of self by self.

In all other cases of goodness; all else is good; the habbit, the behaviour, the knowledge, or the actions of self; except the nature of self;

The self can test the responses of its own nature to itself; especially when it is sorrounded in situations of richness and wealth; or greed and anger; or purity and clarity of charity and service of others and by others. Does it always respond with goodness.

No... for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We are all on level playing field when it comes to sin. Thats why God paid the price on the cross.

Nope. You have got to have more than just good deeds to go there. Faith in Jesus, is one that will help, just keep him in your heart, and follow the rules he set for us in the New Testament.

No way. Your god would be more impressed with belief and worship than with intelligence and good works!
