First, congradulations you have made it to the first step, you WANT to quit drinking. Thats a big deal. When a person decides they no longer want to drink, they must surrond themselves with people that have the same goals, such as AA programs. You can find Alcoholocs Anonymus anywhere....there are people there who are going through what you are. As far as reading a book, of course every one will tell you "The Big Book", Deciding not to drink anymore is a huge step, you dont have to do it alone, build a support group and you can do this....Good Luck

In homoeopathy there are pills to stop alcoholism. Also in ayurveda they have some remedies. I checked with a homoeopath and he confirmed with me that there is remedy inhomoeopathy. The patient has to be treated constitutionally and not specifically.

firstly alcoholism must not be habituated and scientifically proven facts are that a little bit of alchol is good for health. a man can control his senses if he really wants to and if u are a man u can also . so just cut the crap and mentally get prepared ........

i dont know much...but there are medicines available which you mix it with curd and have it....after that if you have alcohol you will puke and in a month you will not feel like consuming it any more....
thats wat is used here.........
or you can contact any doctor who treats with hypnotism....
hypnotism doctors can cure this for sure.....
