but have absolutely no interest in small boys. Can anybody suggest some tips for getting me on the right track?

OK, you don't like small boys. What about women?
If the answer is yes, you could still consider becoming a catholic priest :)

Take care,unless you have a true calling you could be heading for trouble the point is that after you have become a priest or vicar you are going to be held responsible for more than you own soul,so pray about this very hard.

Please do not mock this vocation. It is not like any other job, that you don't care about and just take cash home. This is something that you have to be called to do, and have a real passion for. If you are interested I would suggest doing the Alpha Course, followed by the Foundation Course and review if you still have a calling, then speak to your local priest who should be able to help.

it is good for you to bcome a preist but if you have no interests in children then it does not matter at all because you do not have to each children when you become a priest.

Say anything that is sugar coated so your people will like it...tell it like it is up on the pulpit and you'll "hurt someones feelings" and get fired. My suggestion...don't.
