a hypothetical question? This includes believers and non-believers alike. No one seems to be exempt from doing this. Yes that includes me. I am not above my own nature all the time.

Because sometimes people takes things personally like the asker was talking directly to them and not to a forum. When a situation hits too close to home they want to defend their own actions by answering a Q like that.

Ex: Should I take my cheating boyfriend back?

Those who answer yes have taken a cheater back and defend the principals of forgiveness. Those who answer no have been cheated on or are scared to be cheated on and want to defend their principals of fidelity or self respect.

Perhaps past personal experience couped with a bad day.

I read some where, "We never recover from our childhood."

Be we believers or none believers, as you say, regardless of
that, who ever we are. Bottom line we are all human being,
with short comings and defects from one degree or another.
Strangely enough we all look for the same thing, understanding, acceptance as we are and love.
A young girl who was looking for love once said to me,
"I wish I could find the right sick person." Blessings.

Sometimes I've just had it. Most of the time I stay calm and tryo educate people on a misconception. But other times I get so tired of being told I'm beind decieved (like I'm to stupid to know otherwise) That I worship the creation instead of the creator (We aren't earth based, we are ancestor based and I DO worship MY creator) or that I'm going to hell and they hate me and they don't even freaking know me. That' when I get a bit "snarky" as a friend of mine tells me. :) Hey we all have out limits.

You say "no one seems to be exempt from doing this"....that's a rather impressive assumption. I take offense.

Just kidding.

I agree there is far too much "throwing up" on YA and not enough honest thought.

Ask any question respectfully, and you will get a full answer to me.
But, try to insert an insult into a question, and I won't let that pass: I'll fire back with both barrels

It can be hard for very spiritual and committed athiests to abandon what they know to be true, and many of them have been on the recieving end of abuse from the other side so they are always worried.
