feck (as in the word used in Father Ted) i tell them its an irish slang word, not just a sound-a-like rude word...not 100% sure thats true...but it gets me off the hook!

There's never a "need" to swear (a need is something we cannot live without, and anyone can live without swearing).

At my age, I don't worry about it. I don't swear a lot but if I feel the need to emphasize a point or am frustrated and a swear word 'fits' my current emotion then I'll use it. My mother just rolls her eyes and shakes her head....but when was a kid, she'd have washed my mouth out with soap (seriously).

Gentle ladies do not swear...
unless absolutely necesary...
Single words are exceptable
the d-word, or s-word in that order
a proper lady uses the f-word only in the direst emergencies

to lesser degrees , you form your own words

" Sweet Cracker Sandwich.. can't anyone do anything on their own..."

Honor thy father and thy mother.....
respect is the key word here....
pray instead...
vulgar words only add to the problem...
if you don't want to offend them..then don't.
God bless
