so wouldn't it be safe to say that if somebody on R&S only answered questions with a hateful and condescending attitude to everybody he didn't like, that this hypothetical person might be a nonChristian who is only here to make Christians look bad with his diatribes of hatefulness?

That would be a nice solution to the "problem" of hateful Christians here... sadly it doesn't hold up
I debate at TheologyWeb... and in those forums its very clear who believes what. The Christians there are just as angry and insulting as some of the Christians here.
But of course there are some trolls here!
