Buttered burnt toast works well!

Really! My mom used to give it to me when I was a kid and had a sore throat, and I still use this trick to this day. It does taste awful, and is difficult to swallow, but somehow, it works!

sure... make a manzanilla tea, let it get a bit warm and put some honey, lemon, apple cider vinegar, and cayenne.
It is made by adding one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, a tiny pinch of cayenne pepper, the juice of 1/4 lemon, and one teaspoon of honey to a cup of hot water. Stir very well. Just mind a bit the lemon since it's not always ok because it can irritate the throat a bit more. If so, just pour some drops, that's it.

Also, you may find in a naturist store or even at Walgreens or at Walmart a nature product called Broncolin Honey Syrup that has Sambucus Nigra Extract , Eucalyptus Globulus Extract , Gnaphalium SP Extract , Propolis Extract , Eucalyptus Oil , Menthol , Honey... very goodd, 100%. Normally I take one teaspoon in the morning and one at night because with drastic temperature changes, your throat starts irritating as the first focus of infection.

Use warm salt water to gargle with. Use 1/2 teaspoon of salt in a glass of warm water and use it about every 30 minutes. That is what I use when I have a sore throat.

fresh lemon juice (squeezed from an actual lemo, not in a bottle) mixed with a bit of honey, keep it warm and drink it often...u can also mince some garlic in a cup of hot water, but most people don't like doing this because of the taste and smell.

This is really nasty but my mom use to make me eat it and it would always work. Take a banana and cut a like 1/2 inch of butter and mixed it all together until it is like a cereal and eat it. It will go away instantly and it is really not that bad.

gargle with water has warm and salty as you can stand it. It somehow does something to the irritation and usually helps me a lot.

Drink lots and lots of water to keep yourself hydrated.
