as if they are God?

they all the time make research over people as if they are God..we are their creation..

they are not superior to us..on the contrary..

a man who wants to be superior to the other ..actually is inferor to him..because God made us equal..even when some of us loose their mind..

the only superior person to us..is the one like Blessed Virgin..who doesn't sleep around..and considers the poor his/her equal.

I don't fear psychologists (but I respect them and their job)...
I have a Christian friend who is a psychologist!
I don't know where you got this feeling from but it sounds illogical to me... I don't think psychologists consider themselves superior. I think they have studied to better understand human's feelings (based on what they have learned).
It is like us (christians) when we preach - we know what we are saying because we are taught by The Word of God and by The Holy Spirit into us. We do our preaching based On The Word of God and on what The Holy Spirit inspires us (based on His Words).
They are trying to do their best (the way they were taught)! For them what they do is the best to help people. Although I do not agree with it or with the need for psychologists (as I know God and His Words, as I have Faith which is bigger and stronger than anything else) I respect them.
Reject this type of feeling which is in fact a judgement...
God has His Ways... Always!

That's hilarious.

"They are not superior to us!"

That says it all about how you consider medicine and health. Not everyone views the world in your dominionist manner.

Do you keep your family away from doctors because of your attitude:

"Who do doctors think they are.? God??"

Two members of my family suffer depression. One has blackouts. Both of them benefit from psychological counselling and medication.

I have worked with mentally disabled children for nearly twenty years. No praying to a 'deity' can help them function correctly, or even get dressed on their own. Our psychologists help create their behaviour management plans, including light therapy, medication, sensory therapies (music, massage etc) and also neurological scans for severe cases.

Should we call a priest instead? Or maybe put a toad in their mouths and walk thrice widdershins?

You are arguing from ignorance. Well done. And maybe consider psychological counselling regarding that "Who do they think they are?.....God???" schtick of yours.

Sounds like an inferiority complex.. ;-)

They go on some faulty presuppositions at times.
I have had my own personal experiences with some of these people, and I can speak from experience.
Believe it or not- a few of their ideas are really nothing more than observations of human behavior they could have learned just from reading the Bible. But, largely, they doubt God exists.
If you bother to do the research on the "founding fathers" of psychiatry, and read BOTH sides, you'll really see how messed up THEY were, and their ideas.

I won't use a psychologist for several reasons.

1. I don't believe in psycho-babble.
2. I don't trust them to be able to analyze me.
3. I believe all they want is our money.
4. I believe they will find something wrong in order to keep you coming to them.
5. I don't think they have their own lives together.
6. I don't think they have a pipeline to God.
7. I have a pipeline to God.

As to all of us being equal, that is a half truth.
We are all equal in God's sight.
We are all given different gifts, therefore some will excel better in some circumstances than others.
People with the gift of helps may be more important than those with the gift to preach, in certain circumstances.

My gifts are preaching, teaching and shepherding.
I have no gifts of tongues or prophecy, except to prophesy truth from God's word, and to compare the word of God to the current events of today.

Psychologists are trying to help people with mental illness. They do not feel they are superior to you, that is your own perception. If you fear them, have you asked yourself why? what is the real reason? Is there a psychological issue you are not facing about yourself?

What I've heard coincides with what I've experienced:

Psychologists learn psychology so that they might figure themselves out.

When you look at it like that, they are just people trained in a certain way. They can be helpful, or they can be destructive. Just like anybody.

they don't feel superior to you. their trying to get into that muddled brain to figure out what's wrong with you. "examinate"? the word is "examine".

I don't have to pay someone $300 per hour to know I'm whacked in the head.
