First of all, true Christians do NOT try to determine what the future is. A handful of saints are given the gift of prophesy, but I haven't heard of any who actually have that gift since Padre Pio died.

You do not provide much information about your situation. Are you trying to manipulate God into giving you what you want? If so, then anything you are doing in terms of confessing, etc., is not going to help you. The reason why you feel far from God might be because you are trying to control Him and make Him do what you want Him to do.

The fastest and best way to peace is for you to throw yourself at God's mercy and willingly lay down your life for Him, no matter what happens. No matter if you don't find out what will happen in the future. No matter if you don't get what you want. No matter if you never feel His presence ever again. Read about Mother Teresa -- she struggled in not feeling Him near to her, and she had her doubts, but she remained faithful and is one of the greatest Christian saints who ever walked this planet in the 20th century.

I have been in your shoes before, so I how I can help. First of all God will not listen to your prayer if you are into fortune telling. That is not of God. So get that out of your mind. When you are confessing and praying to God be truthful, and if you keep doing the same sin over and over you won't fill the power of the Lord. Also, if you need to make amends to someone do so. I use to be a drug addict and I would use and ask God to forgive me and I really meant it at the time, but then I would use again, and repeat. I almost died a couple of times. So I found a church and a support group. I don't know what your struggling with. I will tell you that it will take sometime, it won't suddenly get fixed over night.
The last thing I want to say is don't trust what someone says in fortune telling, or witches, they will make your life worst and they lie to you, cause they have not a true part in their body and they love to catch you like a spider.

I do not have the spiritual Gift of Prophecy, however, what you are going through is called spirtual warfare.

You do not have to ask God to come into your life 'again' because He never left.
The fact that you are asking for God's help proves tha Holy Spirit is working in you.
Continue to Pray without ceasing and don't listen to the Atheist on this forum who will tell you junk like God doesn't exist and all that crude.
Surrond yourself with other Christians and have them pray for you as I will.

Hbr 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Understand that the Trials and Tribulations we go through are designed to increase our desire for God, James 1:2 say's Jam 1:2 Dear brothers and sisters,[fn2] whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy.
Jam 1:3 For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.
"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand."
Eph 6:13

You are being tested. Get a King James version Bible and read in it each day. Read silently and read outloud.

Jeremiah 33:3 The Lord says, "Call unto me and I will answer thee and show you great and mighty things."

The Holy Spirit is within you if you are a born again Christian.
If you feel like you are going apart from God, then you are. Are you involved in occultic activity? If so, denounce it and return to the Lord and ask God's forgiveness for your idolatry.

God has given you His Word. Walk it out in fear and trembling. God has given us everything that we need. Get into His Word and find out what you need. You want the benefits of God without following Jesus. If you are troubled by the demonic, then contact a Deliverance Ministry in your area.

The future is in the Word of God and there is nothing new under the sun.

God does not give those abilities to people, telling the future is not one of god’s given abilities. People who can tell the future are probably just into witchcraft, (something God is against). My suggestions are, read the bible every day and don’t just read it because it’s right-apply it to your life. Pray very often, and worship him-there is two times to worship, when you feel like it, and when you don’t. Also, try to get with another person who has your back-you’re better together.

I went through something similar for about two years. I kept praying and praying for Him to come back to me, to let me feel His love, for Him to help me. But guess what? I was waiting for Him to do all the work and wasn't willing to do anything on my end. Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship with Jesus Christ. You have to nurture any relationship if you want closeness with the other person. I was talking to God all the time, but I wasn't doing any listening. Prayer is our way of talking to God, His Word is His way of talking to us. Would you want to be close with someone that always talked and told you about their problems and their needs and expected you to help them every time they called, but the never listened to you or assisted you when you asked them to do something? Probably not. How much time have you been spending in His Word? Open up His Word and see what it is that He has to tell you. Seek out your answers in the Bible, they are there. Once you begin to listen to Him, you will again feel His presence and know His will for your life or situation. Trust me, I have been through the spiritual desert, but no longer...now I my cup over flows with Living Water.

You have the Bible to tell you what the future holds.

For now, meditate on THIS truth:

12if we endure,
we will also reign with him.
If we disown him,
he will also disown us;
13if we are faithless,
he will remain faithful,
for he cannot disown himself.

14Keep reminding them of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen.

And on THIS truth:

35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."[a] 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

One who is saved is not to mess with witch craft. God told King Saul to get rid of such people like that out of the land. As far as what you are going through, maybe you have unconfessed sin in your life.

here is the help you need: seek solitude. allow the distractions of daily life to fade, and meditate. open your mind and heart to hear whatever it is that is being said on the cosmic background and you will be changed.

those people who say real Christians dont partake in such heresy as fortune telling and divination dont really understand what divination is. its the practice of using your own innate psychic ability to reflect your own subconscious and superconcious beings into your waking life to more fully understand your own destiny and Path. Christ can help, but he isn't essential for this purpose. sometimes you just gotta learn things the hard way. that's the way he did it after all...
