As much as sugar and other carbs are worshipped, they actually do more damage to the body than fat. Sugar is a glorified poison and it affects insulin levels the same way in everybody. This is why there are so many young people developing Type 2 diabetes.

as was already stated it depends on how active you are. the body of a physically active person has no problem metabolizing glucose while the opposite is said for the sedentary individual.

hyperactivity leading to energy slumps and cravings for more sugar. if u do this over a period of time it can cause you to gain weight and then suffer withdrawl like symptoms if u suddenly decide enough is enough

more sugar consumption... decreases consumption of protein leads to stress in long term.....and weaken .bones.....also indirectly leads to cough and congestion, could be respiratory
