i really like this girl alot im 13 she's 14. we live 30 minutes apart from each other. ive told her i liked her, but i really doubt she likes me as much as i do. alright, earlier this week she wanted me to sign up to myspace so both of us could chat with each other. we each only had each other as friends. the next day i see another guy who is the same age and lives in the same city and seems like a guy she would like. i called her asking who was that and she said it was a guy that she knew since middle school. She also said he has a great personality and is funny. She is one of those happy girls, i am more serious and have a horrible depression.....so she might like him more because of personality......... this plus a horrible depression equals a broken heart...... could this be true?!?!?!?!

UGH..there's not one part of me that would want to be 13 again! I've seen from my own 13 year-old son that these relationships he has with girls may last a few weeks, or as little as a few days. At this age, kids have not developed the mental and emotional skills needed to have serious, long-term relationships. So, what I'm saying is don't take this girl or this situation so seriously. Tomorrow, she will be interested in a different guy on MySpace...and then next week it will be someone else. This is part of growing up and figuring out what you like and don't like about a girlfriend or boyfriend. Relax and put all this energy into your good friends and things you like to do; i.e. skateboarding, BMX, music, whatever...

You are WAY TOO YOUNG to have such strong feels like this. However, I know they exist at 14. There are thousands of other girls and if she likes someone else then you can't make her like you. Look at all of your positive traits, online is a good way to build up your self-esteem. You're young and have your whole life to worry about competition between you and another boy over a girl.
Let her see your positive side cause girls are attracted to boys that make them feel happy and good about themselves.
You should possibly seek medical help if you seriously have depression at age 14!! Please talk to someone.

hey hey listen, find a girl whos like you on personality. it takes time. she knows how you feel. and heck shes known that guy for awhile so what. maybe there just close friends. i can't date people i known for along time cause it just seems weird. i just say take your time to talk with her and show her what you can be. make up something random and show her how much you care. things will work out.

I sort of did that to one of the guys that i liked i got him jealous and he went crazy!
Now were together and were soo happy!

you need to seek help for your depression....not a good thing my friend.... long distant relationships dont usually work at any age...... find someone nearby....good luck
