can anyboyd tell me if the poverty in Myanmar has anything to do with China? or US's economic woes made it poor. Do you think that US will invade Myanmar in the future???

China has direct influence of Myanmar and the rest of the world has become dependent upon China for manufactured products, so it could be argued that we are all directly responsible for the poverty and violence that has taken place there.

China gains access through to the Indian Ocean. Control over this area requires the subjugation of Tibet and the Monks, so you can see how it all ties together with a global interdependency that deprives the poor and dispossessed of more of their rights.

You also need to look back to the history of Burma after the 1945 war and the way the British suppressed the local uprisings to create a system where unstable military governments could take control.
