USA could never win.
China has nuclear weapons.
China has over a billion people.
USA could not even win in Vietnam.
It would be such a stupid thing to do that only George Dubya would contemplate it.
He's not still President is he ?

I don't think america will ever invade or go to war with china and vice versa. Our economies rely on eachother.
TO John. America could have won the war in Vietnam. It just came down to politics. Just like what is happening in Iraq. War is never pretty, but just think if there wasn't any rules in war. I know that China has a Billion people, but do you realize the fire capability of America? Do you understand what BOMBS do!
For china to even get onto our soil will be hard for them. US. Has military bases all over the world and can be on Chinas doorstep within minutes.
Anyways... Getting carried away...

little known fact USA AND TAIWAN HAVE A MUTUAL PROTECTION PACT
after the communist revolution in china after ww2 the previous -national democratic chinese government moved to taiwan. taiwan was then a province of china. the usa quickly moved and signed a mutual protection pact . this was done in the hope of protecting democracy and one day restore china to a democratic state.
the chinese state does not recognise the independence of taiwan and has always vowed to reclaim taiwan by force if neccesary.
these demand(by china) have become more regular and demanding since there new premier took over........if a war would and could happen it will be over taiwan
this is how ww2 started over an insignifficant player that drew in all the big gun. in ww2 it was poland ....www3 could it be taiwan ~??????

No It will be the other way around... China invading the US and killing Americans
think about it- that is a society composed largely of men harboring very nationalized, chauvinistic ideals.
At some point they are going to need to thin the ranks of all that testosterone and war is a very good way to do that while gaining world leverage.

Why would we INVADE China. We may disagree with their politics and go to war with them. But that is political and military. We won't just stroll in, plant a flag, and be like, "Ok, this is ours now".
