Eat the carbs. It's easier to just limit your caloric intake while eating a bit of everything. This is the healthiest way to eat because then you get all your needed nutrients.

Whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and lean protein are the best things to eat. Limit (but don't take out completely) fats. Use olive oil. Enjoy treats every now and then, then get back on healthy stuff!

If you're female, eat between 1500-2000 calories a day. A male can eat a few hundred more than that. With exercise, the weight will melt away. I like to go for walks because it is low-impact, easy, but very effective.

Why limit carbs. They are actually very low in fat. As long as you don't smother them in butter, cream, sauce, etc. Keep them plain and simple.

Brown rice and pasta, any wholemeal foods are great too. They keep you fuller for longer.

Keep away from take away foods, ready made processed foods you buy in the supermarket, cakes, biscuits, sweets, chocolate, alcohol and sugary fizzy drinks. All of these are high in saturated fat, sugar and salt. They all add to those unwanted pounds.

Eat lean meats, poultry, fish, vegetables, fresh fruit, skimmed milk, low fat dairy products, beans and pulses, potatoes, brown rice and pasta (remember keep these plain and simple), non sugary cereals, sugar free beverages, tea and coffee.

Drink plenty of water.

Try to do as much exercise as you can. The more you move the better.

I lost 48lbs by doing this.

if you are 80 lbs overweight you shouldn't be consuming any processed carbohydrates and that includes whole wheat bread. all of the carbs that you consume should be 100% all natural and high fiber. carbs such as whole oatmeal, lentils, beans, barley, whole grain rices, etc.

if maximizing fat loss is your goal processed carbohydrates should not touch your lips, they are counter productive to fat loss...
