Funny you ask, as just a couple of hrs ago, I read Psalm 55.
I want to try to remember this Scripture - And where to find it, as I remembered it or similar, but had know idea where it was, and exactly what it said, The funny part is in some ways, v 22 is similar to the one you chose!
Psalm 55
22 Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall.
23 But you, O God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of corruption; bloodthirsty and deceitful men will not live out half their days.
But as for me I will trust in You.*

Psalm 118:8. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
That's the verse I thought of today. I find it very uplifting. I also love the fact that this verse is in the centre of the Bible! And surely this is an enormous part of our faith - that it is better to trust in the Lord in all that we do.
Maranatha! He is risen indeed!

Isaiah 54: 1
Sing, O barren, thou that did not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that did not travail with child:
for more are the children of the desolate
than the children of the married wife,
saith the Lord.
Of course, the comments in the Study Bible mentions the allegory of Israelite versus Gentiles, but I see this verse as the aborted children of the desolate woman. It is better to be barren than a desolate woman who aborted a child.
Desolate is lonely, uninhabited and laid waste.
I mourn everyday for the aborted children in this world. God is raising these children in heaven.

I've actually thought about two verses today.
I can do all things through Christ
I just finished a Jan Karon book where her main character quotes a lot of Bible scriptures, and this is one of his favorites.
And I just finished reading our church women's group's newsletter from last Sunday and the lesson was over Women of the church, or Women in the scriptures or something like that and the verse was from Proverbs where it talks about a virtuous woman being worth more than rubies.

The 23rd Psalms comes to mind right now.... But I am fed by God's word continually and stand by faith that He has brought me out of the maury clay into His anointing. The 13 chapter of I Corinthians.
And let's not forget Job.... Job11:16. In our misery we are slow to recall... that like water from a fountain.... This too shall pass.~

don't be fooled. there are a number of cases that Christians are pronounced as to oppose the government. If the government asks you to do some thing that is going against your faith you're to no longer take part in it. Daniel 3 14Nebuchadnezzar spake and mentioned unto them, Is it genuine, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do no longer ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden photograph which I surely have set up? do no longer forget approximately the Roman government regulation forbade every person from asserting themselves King or complicated the authority of the King appointed by utilising Rome. Jesus died simply by fact he does not deny his own identify. Matthew 27 11 meanwhile Jesus stood earlier the governor, and the governor asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” “you have mentioned so,” Jesus responded. This verse a million Peter 2 13Submit yourselves to each ordinance of guy for the Lord's sake: whether that is to the king, as superb; 14Or unto governors, as unto them that are despatched by utilising him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the compliment of them that do properly. does not negate the responsiblity Christians might desire to God. you're pronounced as to stay with Gods will and Jesus coaching whether it is going a offender offense of the land.

This morning, I was going to read from the Gospel of Mark; but God told me He wanted me to read Jonah -- so I did. So the following from Chapter 4 has been rattling around in my head:
6 And the LORD God prepared a plant and made it come up over Jonah, that it might be shade for his head to deliver him from his misery. So Jonah was very grateful for the plant. 7 But as morning dawned the next day God prepared a worm, and it so damaged the plant that it withered. 8 And it happened, when the sun arose, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat on Jonah’s head, so that he grew faint. Then he wished death for himself, and said, “It is better for me to die than to live.”
9 Then God said to Jonah, "Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?"
And he said, "It is right for me to be angry, even to death!"
10 But the LORD said, “You have had pity on the plant for which you have not labored, nor made it grow, which came up in a night and perished in a night. 11 And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left—and much livestock?”
Whoever says that God isn't merciful and loving, even when we don't deserve it, has never read the Book of Jonah.

Ephesians 2:8
"for by grace i am saved through faith, and that not of yourselves it is the gift of god"
i like this verse b/c it shows if we beleive we shall be saved (i think we can over use grace though and think we can get away with any sin b/c of it) which we can't, but its good to know, all we have to do is accept god gift and live for him

Luke 16:23-25 (NIV) (Sweet Jesus says) And being in torments in Hell, he* (*a rich man in Hell) lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented.
Hey, these are words of Sweet Jesus! He enjoys telling this story to everybody!!!
Malachi 1:4 (NIV) Edom may say, "Though we have been crushed, we will rebuild the ruins." But this is what the LORD Almighty says: "They may build, but I will demolish. They will be called the Wicked Land, a people always under the wrath of the LORD.
