All of us believers will receive gifts that bring us infinite happiness, but you non-believers will be left with empty stockings and a bare floor under their tree.

Santa only brings you presents if you believe. If you don't believe, you get nothing.

So why don't you believe so that you'll get the reward? I mean, it's not like belief requires evidence or anything.

Did people not read the word "SANTA"?

Hi Magley. I just saw a Pascal's wager question so I thought I'd mock Pascal's wager. I guess I should've mentioned Santa earlier because it seems only a few people caught that reference.

But, Santa DOES exist! How can anyone not believe? I have presents from him every year, indisputable proof of his existence!

I think the non-believers are afraid to believe because they will only get coal for their miserable and evil behavior! Naughty boys and girls!

When i was little and i told my mum i knew about santa and santa not being real she replied if u want presents you'll believe in santa missy, so of course i pretended to believe and i got my presents but when i got to 12 i didnt really care about christmas so i decided to stop pretending...i still get presents from santa though my mothers writing is on the card and sometimes mine when she makes me wrap the gifts. Does that mean my mum is santa and i'm her little helper (though i am taller than her)

You left out the very important "nice" caveat. It is not enough to simply believe in Santa. Santa is all knowing and he knows who has been naughty or nice. And naughty people get no presents.

Nevertheless, point well taken. Non-believers need to think long and hard about what is at stake here.

I know Santa is real because I have faith and I FEEL he is real.

It by no skill ceases to amaze me. Atheists are consistently screaming, “you may’t instruct there's a God!” yet while somebody (Pascal) comes up with a logical argument for the life of God, thoroughly aside from the religious, they canine it. perchance if most of the folk on right here might truly study the Bible (it’s observed as Biblical hermeneutics) truly than regurgitating some thing they study on Joe Atheist’s internet web site or observed on YouTube we could have some clever questions and solutions right here.

A very good comparison with Santa! We know that Santa doesn't exist, yet there is the same amount and type of evidence for your god. We, of course, could go a step further with your "what if" and say "What if the Norse/Greek/Mayan gods are real?", i.e. there are thousands of gods in the world and any of them could be right.

I haven't ever notice Santa distributing presents depending on belief. It depends on how much the relatives are willing to spend.
So you are saying you are saving up your money to buy some future happiness? What's the interest rate?

Because I'm not going to pretend to believe if I don't. I used to go to church and I always got the feeling that all of the people were just saying and doing what they thought they were supposed to to be christian. If you can convince yourself that you believe that good for you, but I can't live a lie.

So do you think muslims believing they are going to get 72 virgins when they get to heaven means they really are in fact going to get 72 virgins. I don't need to believe - everything I want I can create with action.
