all the kids are still at school, its broad daylight, what a total waste of money they may as well just make a little bonfire and burn the money.

i think the government should bring in a law that fireworks are only allowed to be sold for maybe 3 days before bonfire night. would save us all a lot of sleepless nights and having to block letterboxes

when i wrote this yesterday the kids in our area were still at school. their half term holiday is next week.

On the basis that you are aware of it, then I am guessing they are letting of bangers and/or air bombs.
The thing with bangers and air bombs of course - is that they work just as well during the day as they do at night - they are an auditory experience as opposed to a visual one.
As for kids still at school - in many parts of the country - the UK at any rate - children are on half term.

Yep. Someone with s*it for brains, quite clearly.
It bugs me how we gets fireworks for a month before and a month (or more) after actual bonfire night... it's not fair on pets and the elderly. My cat gets absolutely petrified.
I think fireworks should only be for organised displays only.
The ones you buy for home are rubbish and a waste of money.
Cue the thumbs downs...

the countless fireworks might desire to be for Dewali as its been celebrated immediately, the others that are going off will better than probable be from young ones who think of its lots exciting to try this, sure it relatively is against the regulation to set them off with out permission earlier bonfire night and the police are meant to be cracking down and doing spot fines for it from final 365 days, want they might come around our section and do slightly that as we've been like firework alley for the final six weeks and boy is it going to be a hell of lots worse this coming week, 0.5 term, sufficient mentioned.

I have the perfect solution to this problem. many years ago I had the same problem so I bought a few sky rockets and was able to launch them horizontally by placing then in a large bottle and firing them in the direction of the perpetrators and I blasted off a couple. when the rockets started to explode around them they ran for cover. Don't be afraid to do the same as they don't know where they are launched from.

Personally, I don't think fireworks should be sold at all. Is it wise to make explosive devises legally available to any Tom, Dick or Dick Head?

Yeah, we have the same problem here. As soon as the shops start selling them these kids (or whoever!) start letting them off at all hours. You can't even see them during the daytime so what's the point?

i think the government should only sell them to people with a lisence or at a controlled public display alot of deaths happen with fireworks people just dont understand the dangers of them

thats nothing, some git fired a sonic bomb at my window at 2.56am this morning, i nearly fell out of bed, actually hurt my ears. lol
was funny afterwards, but felt like strangling the F*ckers
