this is a good question; I can't really say that anything is a really sacrifice; all are choices; to have 4 children and be a stay at home Mom to give my children a good basis; we went without, no fancy cars, no big home, no fantastic vacations etc; but that isn't really a feeling of sacrifice for me b/c now that they are all grown and see how great adults they have become, I feel like a millionaire to be blessed ! I gave up Sunday to teach CCD but that wasn't a sacrifice because the children blessed me with so much more than I ever gave; for me, I guess it is how you look at things

I never sacrifice. I give what I can freely. "If you sacrifice you will be cursed," Jesus. When a person sacrifices they are doing more than they really think they should. This causes them to become resentful, cursed by a negative emotion. As for the Divine Mother/Father what is wanted is always given freely and with love by me. "The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed is the name of the Lord." Jewish scriptures.

Probably not arguing with my parents about religion, because they are getting old, and I don't want them to have to worry.

It does get hard sometimes listening to them try and indoctrinate my children. I know they mean well, but I don't want my kids to go through the hardships of faith that I had to endure.

I beseech you now brethren that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service...
