Or is it always because you are too small minded and weak willed to accept that others dont feel the same way as you?

No, I have never reported by mistake. I have reported three times since joining and all were considered and deliberate actions.

Once it was for blatantly false and very serious (libellous) accusations against a person known to me where the only intention was to hurt and cause offence.

Both the other times were for grossly offensive racist remarks.

Tolerance, open-mindedness, and respecting the right of all to freedom of expression are values and principles I wholeheartedly support and would wish to defend but, sometimes, some people need to be reminded that all rights carry commensurate responsibilities. One cannot credibly call for tolerance and open-mindedness while venomously inflicting others with their opposites. Freedom of expression should be accompanied by respect for the rights of others and is most effectively employed when it has at least a passing acquaintance with the truth and observes the regulations of the forum in which it is exercized.

I've given thumbs down by mistake, but seeing as how reporting is a 2-step process, I don't know how someone could do so as a "mistake".

Reporting me, on the other hand, has become somewhat of a sport here.

I only report pornographic avatars or links to pornography.

I only do this because this site is meant to be safe for 14 year olds.

Apart from that, I don't care who posts what. I am not a spam filter or a censor.

I don't report... but because i accidentally clicked the flag it icon I know it can't be done by mistake for the window changes then asks for more information... an opportunity to correct the error.... Just incase those of you who have never made the mistake are wondering what's behind the flag.

No. If reporting was a one step process it might be possible to mistakenly report, but it's not. All reports are deliberate. I have never and will never report someone because I disagree with them.

It's impossible to report by mistake.

Are you upset that some of your posts have been removed for noncompliant content?

I refuse to credit such a question with being deserving of my attention so will neither report it or reply to it.

some people are just too small minded to realise there are other ways of looking at the world.
