I'm sure many of you are gonna this what I'm about to say is BS but...why the heck do you people and like to make each other miserable. Yes, it OK to stand up for your own religion but I know that God wouldn't want to see you people kill each other over him! God and many other Gods of other religions just want peace! SERIOUSLY! WHAT THE HECK?!

You bring up a great point. People get so passionate and so dedicated to what they believe the correct answer to religion is that they do not accept any other answer.
Unfortunately, this is the greatest downfall of any and all religions.
There is one group called the Unitarian Universalists that actually embraces all faiths under one roof. In fact, this is the only religious group in history to ever come together rather than separate. The Unitarians and the Universalists were two separate groups not that long ago. This group is an example that the rest of the religions choose to ignore.

This section was "originally" created to share religious discussion, but its more like ranting here. People (some of them) who dont believe in God usually Mock,insult,or Joke on a persons faith or because their Theist and some Theist (depending on which they believe in) usually Mock,insult, or laugh at atheist. I rarely see questions asked by a sincere person wanting to know more about a faith or get a answer to a question they always thought about. Its different views colliding at each other, This is where the fight begins.

Life is like a story and it would be a boring story with no tension. What some people ask in ignorance can cause a process called thought, even if it is just to lash back, but that too provokes thought. What the world needs now is for more people to think.

Because everyone is sticking up for what they believe in - and on Y!A it's all about discussion, so many opinions & beliefs that people are going to butt heads.
I see what you mean tho, I can get really aggitated when I come to this section because I believe something in my heart and others don't believe the same and even make fun - that's why I stick to the other sections more often.
Keep in mind, everyone is entitled to their opinion & freedom of where they go on Y!A - if it really bothers you, go check out the other sections.

Because most of the people here are stubborn, and can't acknowledge that there is more than one possibility than what they believe is true. Most religions don't leave room for exceptions, thus, they lead to fighting.

People fight in this section because it is indicative of what happens in the real world. This microcosm just shows how adamant people are about their beliefs and what they will do in order to defend/stand up for them.

there are many reasons for this I can only speak for my self Its revenge I ask a question to my fellow pagans and Christians do nothing but report and give us thumbs down so I point out certian fults in their belifs to show them that they are not perfect no matter how self rightious they are
