Yes, but the only way I could find out I was wrong is to die and find out there is no God, and if that happens it will be hard for me to get to a computer...

Absolutely. And this isn't just hypothetical.

I was not raised in any kind of a "Christian" home, but we were taught that Jesus was a liar, possibly insane, but above all else, very definitely dead!

In my early to mid 20's, when I was at a low point in my life, someone (a Christian) asked if he could pray for me.

I didn't like the idea, but, hey, what good would it do to talk to a dead man? Besides - whatever floats your boat, if you know what I mean.

So Bryan prayed, and (Lo and Behold!) God answered!!!

I received (for lack of a better term) a "revelation", in which every fiber of my being cried out that Jesus truly IS the Son of God!!!

After the initial shock and surprise wore off, all I could say was "uh - oh - uh - ok".

The moment I said "ok", the Lord came in like a flood, washing away all the drugs, booze, et cetera. I no longer NEEDED any more, I didn't even WANT any more!

Jesus totally changed my life from that very moment, and forgave me, and set me free - all within a moment of time! (Weeelllll, maybe 3 seconds).

So, yes - I admit it. I was wrong. Like the song goes, "I once was lost, but now I'm found, was blind but now I see."

I'd be "wo"man enough, yes. I don't think anyone can prove any of this stuff, but if someone found a way to do so, I'd listen with an open mind.

In a heartbeat.

However, there's a long way to go between finding out that there is a god and determining that he's actually WORTHY of my worship and devotion -- if it turned out somehow that the bible was literally true, I would actually take up the fight to overthrow the genocidal megalomaniac Joe Hovah....

I would also observe that the people who say "But I'm not wrong" without even first hearing what the evidence is, are not actually looking at the world around them to inform their opinions but are making it up in their own minds as they go...

I would love to have proof of whether or not God exists. At least then I would not have a library full of books trying to help me come to a decision, and yes I would definitely admit it.

well...no..
"i'm a lady" and usually hate being wrong to such an extent that i have actually argued people round to my incorrect way of thinking in full knowledge that i'm in the wrong.
which is fine, as long as i remember to bring the point up again a few weeks later and reconvince them of their own convictions.
god i'm such a little liar....
i need to go to confession at some point, except im not catholic.

I would be woman enough to do so, no shame in being wrong, it only means you learned something you didn't know before so it's a good thing.

Yes, I believe I'd be squirrel enough to admit it.

If any Deity should appear itself and take responsibility of the worldly affairs, then I'll acknowledge its existence publicly.
