Moe and Rayb, i don't know if you choose to do so, or if you're just ignorant of it, but you're kind of stereotyping all Muslims. I for one am against terrorism, i hate it and it causes me anger.

My answer to this question:
Yes, i suppose this would be true. The problem is that many Muslims don't realise it, and they think that not blowing things up is enough on their behalf. It isn't. They need to make it very clear that these psycho terrorists are actually doing what Islam prohibits.

Muslims have been publicly standing up against terrorism for years, but others don't pay attention. Remember the huge demonstration against terrorism in Tehran right after 9/11?

Probably, but their religion seems to bred cult-like splinter groups to a greater extent than other religions. Islam would gain a bit of credibility if it issued public statements against terrorism and armed violence.

What the don't realize is that anger, prejudice, distrust, even out right hatred towards them is growing. Just a primative way of thinking is all.

I would say so when and if that happens. If some idea or person does or says something really bad I will speak against him or her no matter who they may be even if it was from my own family

They are denouncing terrorism, but no one is listening. Everyone wants to judge them based on the media, which only reports the atrocities, and not the stuff they consider not to be "news".

If they were to do so, yes (at least in my eyes). I currently look at it as either an evil religion or a very weak one, until those who claim that it is compatible with a life of peace begin to demand that the violent ones quit excusing their crap by sticking Allah's name on it.
