I would like to set up and participate in a serious Jesus Christ inspired Catholic prayer group over the internet. If you too would like to join me and would like to give me your ideas please type it in your answer space.

We can make it our mission to pray for those who need our prayers and pray for each of us.

All Christians are welcome. Please answer if you are serious about this only!!!

God Bless!

I'm already part of two online prayer groups. I'm not Catholic but I just wanted to encourage you to follow through with this and to share a few ideas.

Both of my groups are based in Yahoo! Groups...it seems to work very well. With one of the groups, we have also met a few times in a chat room on our church's Web site...that is also working well except that our chat client doesn't allow us to keep a transcript of the chat sessions...see if you can find one that has this feature so you can post the transcripts in Yahoo! Groups later.

This week my virtual "lifegroup" (small group fellowship) watched a video on prayer and then discussed it. We had a great discussion. If you search You Tube (and other sites), you can probably find some great videos to share with your group. The nice thing about Yahoo! Groups is that they make it easy to share links, files and more. One of my groups even displays a few open questions from Y!A R&S to encourage people to pray for people on here!

I absolutely believe in group prayer.

I would like to join, however I do have some 'different' beliefs.

Though my first love is God the Father and will always be (God willing!).

YOu just turn off all protestants and pentecostals when you said it was all Catholic prayer group. Denomination divides and Christ unites. A catholic christian leader is fine, but denomination divides when you classify it as such.

Prayer: Our Father, deliver us from EVIL: Mt 6:13
Answer: We are delivered from the LAW: Rom 7:6.
What remaineth is global awareness of it: 1Tim 2:4.

If entangled again, then it's recover yourself: 2Tim 2:26
For deliverance (saved, graced) is done, once and for all;
And to suggest it again is talked about in Romans 10:6,7.

Pst: God is NOT an unjust judge who can be hounded.
Law is an unjust judge who can be hounded to change;
And changes from unjust judge to witness against itself.

Pray for understanding of what Matthew 9:13 "meaneth"!
If you lack any wisdom about it, then "ask God": James 1.
But ask nothing wavering, for double-minded = un-stable.

POINT: Law and Grace are "contrary" things,
and contrary things mixed = an oxy-MORON,
the twain of Grace + Law having a BAD end.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

I dont exactly understand what a prayer group is. I can pray on my own. And i dont need to be with a person that is accosiated with a biased religion, Praying. I pray by myself and talk to the lord one on one.

Thanks anyway

Not the best site to use.....

I had observed that many Christian-members of this site are not truly loving their religion.

Suggestion go to EWTN.COM
