Than beat him to it. Bring your office colleagues a cake or dough nuts and make an announcement. Tell them what a great time you had working with them but that you must move on and that you hope you'll remain friends. Oh and offer him a slice of cake too LOL!!!!

File for unemployment. If you quite for good reason, sexual harassment for example, you may get it and if he claims to have fired you unless he has a great reason you will still get it. If he has a boss above him, you can write a note to that person explaining why you quit and send a copy to people you want to let know that you quit and were not fired.

well, first it is a violation of your privacy for him to tell anyone, anything about why you left, when your leaving, or how your leaving. I would make it clear in a very covert way that you would be very unhappy if he spreads lies about the reasons you are leaving and may have to report him to upper management. And if people ask tell them. The ones that know you will know why you left, those are the ones that matter.

turn in a signed resination paper or how ever that is spelled he cant lie about it then cause if he does it would be giving false information out and i think u could take him to court over it if he did say u where fired when u turned that in.

plus they would have to pay u for vacation time if u had any left if u did that

your boss is a psycho!

If you really want to quit, go on. Whatever he tells your co-workers, it doesn't matter. You need to move out and just dont focus your attention to what he might say.

After all..you and your friends know the truth. That's what matters most.
