OMGosh! Gee i wonder:
Genesis 1: 20-21 The God said "Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth acrossthe face of the firmament of the heavesn. So GOD CREATED great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird...

Genesis 1:25 And GOD MADE the beasts of the earth according to its kind....

Genesis 1:26 The God said "LET US MAKE man in OUR image, according to Our likeness....

Genesis 1:27 So GOD CREATED man in His own image, in the image of God HE CREATED him; male and female HE CREATED them

I think the bible do not expressly states that evolution does or does not exist.

I guess what the bible stand is that Human beings, animals and all creatures are created by GOD. There is a certain source, a great power behind this creation. If you read first part of genesis, you will understand the point.

What the bible reject is the idea of evolution, that everything comes from nothing and then through the passage of time, something evolves and here we are right now.

It overpasses the Law of Nature, if there is an action, there should be a reaction. You cannot create something from nothing, even scientist argue on that portion, unless there is Someone or something that disrupts the cycle.

But if you are talking about evolution with regards change of the form of the species coz it adapts the day to day living, that theory has not been accepted or even rejected in the bible. I guess, it is quite about it.

Thus, i guess your question is wrong stated.u

Evolution is not true in the creation of new categories of animals. A lizard's tongue can grow longer and longer through successive generations but it remains a lizard every time. Likewise the finches in the Galapagos can develop beaks better suited to fit their environment but they remain finches. This is acceptable evolution. However when you notice that the lizard stays a lizard and the finch stays a finch. At no point does the lizard become a snake or a finch become an eagle. That does not happen and that is what is wrong in evolution. Evolution that is true stays within a genus, when you try to venture out then you dive into the realm of fantasy.

EVOLUTION

The introduction to Genesis and to the whole Bible ascribes everything to the living God, creating, making, acting, moving, and speaking. There is no room for evolution without a flat denial of Divine revelation. One must be true the other false. All of God’s works are good, great, wondrous, and perfect.

Man starts from nothing. He begins in helplessness, ignorance, and inexperience. All his works, therefore, proceed on the principle of evolution. This principle is only seen in human affairs: from the hut to the palace; from the canoe to the ocean liner; from the spade to the plowshare to machines. But the birds build their nests today as at the beginning. There is growth and development within man, but no passing, change, or evolution out from one into another.

For this theory or fallacy of evolution to be true there would be evident stages of evolution today. You would be able to find species in many stages of evolution in nature right now. For this theory or fallacy of evolution to be true there would be no God. And that’s exactly what evolutionists believe and are trying prove. The evolutionist bases his or her conclusions on human assumptions and reasoning, instead of on the documentary evidence of the manuscripts.

Contrary to biblical science fiction, the science of Historical Geology is the study of evolution and changes to Earth and life in time and space. How much time? Oldest meteorites and oldest moon rocks are 4.6 billion years old (4,600,000,000 years).

Oldest rocks found so far on Earth are zircon grains from a sandstone in western Australia, dated at 4.1 to 4.2 bilion years old. Previously, the oldest Earth rocks were 3.96 billion years old, from the Northwest Territories of Canada.

How do we know? Because radioactive materials serve as geologic clocks.

What happened on the Earth during this long period of time?

Many natural events:
meteorite impacts
volcanic eruptions and lava flows
mountain building
earthquakes
erosion
slow movement of continents (plate tectonics)
formation and destruction of ocean basins (plate tectonics)
glaciations
climatic changes
etc.
All of these natural events are still going on today -

We see evidence in the rock record that these events have been occurring for a long time. Geologists call this uniformitarianism. The physical laws governing the universe operate uniformly through time.

But Christians call all of this the "work of Satan", because as far as Christians are concerned, the earth is only 6000 years old: 1654 Archbishop Usher (Ireland), genealogy in Bible
Earth was created October 26, 4004 BC, 9:00 am
Earth was 6000 years old.
Led to the Doctrine of Catastrophism:
Earth was shaped by series of giant disasters.
Had to fit many processes into a short time scale.

The Bible doesn't mention evolution; it simply states that God made the world and everything in it in 6 days. That kind of opposes modern day evolutionary theory.
Many people try to marry the two but the plain fact is the Bible and evolution cannot both be true... I'm on the side of Biblical creation!

There is not. You are referring to microevolution, which is changes within a species. Macroevolution is the change from one species to another, which has never been shown to have occurred.

If you actually knew the scientific terminology, you wouldn't have to ask.

but it seems the vatican is backing off on this subject, i read an article that said that "we should be more open minded" or something similar (paraphrasing) "because of the case with gallileo" from the pope
