to Horton heard you" what about a Volvo?..It is a family car after all..?...No really, what I'm talking about is ppl praying for sick family members and important things like that...that's where I can't see why God would "let" one recover and let another die... see what I mean?

Prayer works!!
It is a way of telepathy to God or to the super power!
It does not mean that you have to shout or chant loudly something!
Practically, praying by shouting loudly won't work!
The real prayer is without saying a word, it should come from your unconcious mind with deep feelings.
That's why the true love never fails. True love is like a prayer only. Same philosophy is used in magic too.
When you do the prayer with full concentration from your heart, it definitely works!

God doesn't work in mysterious ways , the answers are in the bible if you bother to study it. Don't blindly follow a religion else you be lead into destruction .

lol...god answers all the prayers but in very different way...
sometimes you pray to get sth but you dont..so he keeps it for you for the second life...so when its the time for god to preview the bad and the good things you did in your life...he looks at the prayers you asked for and he didnt give it to you and he deletes some of your mistakes by them..so the chance for you to go to heaven will be bigger....
and sometimes when god loves you and you ask him for sth and he knows it will be bad for you then he doesnt give it to you ...
so always pray to god because he never ignores you...he keeps everything for the good time...

But if its will then why bother praying in the first place, he's already decided whats going to happen to you.
