I haven't had a white christmas for 2 years and I live here in Indiana. I'm a believer, are you?

Yes I beleive it's real.

As Mr Jello (and others) have said, the Sun is the source of the heat but the important factor that is sometimes overlooked is that the greenhouse gases in the atmopshere retain this heat, the more greenhouse gases there are the more heat is retained. It all comes down to a simple physical property possessed by certain gases.

I can sympathise with you over the lack of White Christmas's. I used to go skiing every Christmas / New Year, the snows were always reliable, there hasn't been a good year since 1995 and the ski resorts are moving higher up the mountains and relying more on artificial snow.

Well, global warming is defined as an increase in the earth's atmospheric and oceanic temperatures widely predicted to occur due to an increase in the greenhouse effect resulting especially from pollution. No argument about the pollution we've produced, that's pretty well documented for the last half century.

Climate Change deals with variations in climate on many different time scales from decades to millions of years, and the possible causes of such variations. Human-induced climate change has the potential to alter the prevalence and severity of extremes such as heat waves, cold waves, storms, floods and droughts. It is also well documented that our actions have had impacts on climate locally and globally, what is debatable are predictions about how much, how fast.

I hope you get a white Christmas this year, but we need more advocates for action and fewer ill-informed detractors to really kick start the solutions process into high gear.

Absolutely!! I am in the "drought" area in Tennessee.. Worst I have seen since I have been here. The changes taking place here in this area fit the changes Al Gore describes in Africa as part of the global changes due to the CO2 and the Axis changes from the Tsunamis.. If we as a world do not wake up we as a world will loose and our children are going to really suffer

No, I don't believe in it. Read some history books and you will learn that the climate has been changing since the beginning of time. It will continue to change. I remember learning about climate change when I was in school over 40 years ago. It is possible that North America could become a desert some day. As in life, nothing remains the same, it constantly changes.

Yes. There is a lot of evidence the Earth is getting warmer and there is some evidence that it is caused by human related pollution.

Sure it's real, and the cause of global warming is the Sun.

The Sun provides all warmth on Earth.

The Sun's output is never constant. It is a little warmer now than it was 30 years ago. In time this will change, and things will get cold again.
