Putin and his staff members seem hell bent on "going nuclear" and one doesnt need much imagination to see a connection between Russia wanting Iran to have nukes and Russia rearming its nuclear mid range missiles, as their leading General so calmly announced yesterday.
Whats your take on it?

Its interesting that everyone is quick to blame Bush but arent the least bit concerned about Putins actions which are every bit OR more, as aggressive.
Putin is selling nuclear materials to Iran and owns most of the nuclear plant in Iran, goes to Iran and tells the US not to attack Iran?
Putin refuses to allow the US to have an early warning system in Europes eastern block and if we do, he threatens to reinstitute nuclear mid range missiles?
Funny how blind some people can be when they want to bash the US President.

Putin wants to reclaim the power and the greatness of once so called the soviet union, and hes done a good job at that..that is if you take into consideration how Boris Yeltsin was leading Russia, and his policies just made Russia weak internally and made them look stupid internationally

The world is already Nuclear and the fact that Bush is now ignoring the UN which was part of the cold war solution, isnt helping. So no, it is Bush! While I disagree with Nuclear anything, however, as an object or comodity, there is nothing good or bad about anything except for the perceptions people choose to place on them... their meaning! Nuclear is good for medicine but it is bad when a small country has it!!!! Who is manufacturing the perceptions... again Bush and the pro-bush media!Just to add a bit more, lets not forget the relationship developing between Russia and China and the fact that the Chinese civilisation predates the US by 3000 years... Bye bye USA... pull your head in before it gets chopped off!

maybe so this world is going to hell.it would be in our best interest not to let Iran acquire nuclear weapons.i do think it is kind of hypocritical for us to have nuclear weapon and have the means to strike anywhere in the world and tell another country they can't have nuclear weapon.but yeah it looks like Russia is indirectly defending Iran , going to be interesting seeing how this plays out.

Somebody needs to opose the USA.
The UdSSR was the classical counterweight, and it was good.
After that country went downside, USA became the one and only super power, which IS NOT GOOD.
So Putin is doing right, in opposing the politics of Bush. Its what Putin needs to do.
USA guys have a biased view on the world. See, not every country wants to have the principals of the USA "culture" imprinted on them.
There are people refusing to drink Coca Cola, because its a USA thing.
USA wants to rule the world, that might be fine with USA citizents, but its offending the rest of the world.
Be sure, its offending Putin ! Why should he allow Bush to wander into eastern Europa and set up his toys, just because of a USA decalred freedom ??
Its the same **** what the Roman empire was doing. It was call bepeacing. "We bring you peace - do what I say or die"
Thats basically the reason, why there are Terrorists. They are simply pissed of by USA dominating the world.
