My bday is on november, and my mother plans to send me my usual delicious bday cake, but via USPS, bcz we live in different states. I know that if she send it in a box the frosting will become a mess, I'm just want to be sure that the cake dont get mashed, i dont care about the frosting, bcz i can take it and put it back. How she can send me my cake fast, easy and in a way that will preserve it (that wont mash it or descompose). Which company she shoud use? How she can wrap or package it to send it? Thanks

What kind of frosting?
I would send it via Express mail (Overnight delivery), but very expensive. Anything else I'd worry about the frosting souring.

She just needs to make sure the box is wrapped very tightly so it doesn't ooze. If it oozes, the postal service might think it's a hazardous material and dispose of it.

Have her use a disposable aluminum pan to bake the cake. After it's baked, she should follow the directions in the recipe for cooling and removing the food from the pan. When thoroughly cooled, have her wrap the cake in plastic wrap or foil and return to the cleaned disposable aluminum container.

Then have her wrap the container with the cake in aluminum foil, put sturdy cardboard over the top, cut to the size of the pan, and tape it down. If the frosting isn't perishable, she can put it in a tightly sealed container separate from the cake.

Then she should place a cushion of crumbled newspaper, paper towels, styrofoam pellets or unsalted air-popped popcorn in a strong cardboard box and then add the containers of food. Then fill in the air space with more of the packing material like crumbled newspaper and seal the box.

You can frost the cake once it gets to your house.

that is completely felony. purely be certain you cushion the interior the container so as that the donuts do no longer leap around too plenty. I deliver baked products to human beings all of the time from my luxury house right here in NYC. have relaxing, use in a single day delivery...that is going to likely be well worth it to the guy getting the candies.
