I guess I'm the real 'tard, because I can't figure out how to get one other than this dorky Yahoo one.

So, I'd say the process of using something other than the one you have to "create" should be much, much easier. I've never had a problem on other forums I've been a part of, and I don't feel this avatar truly expresses who I am.

They would be given the right to dip into the opposite gender choices. For example: male avatars would have the choice of wearing dresses and having feminine hair styles and the female avatars could choose to be bald and have facial stubble. I think that would definitely add to the whole avatar experience. There are a lot more bald women and cross dressing men out there than one might guess!

Make them more age and skintone appropriate. They all appear to be like little children or young teens and we're not all young dumb teens, plus there are different skintones to Black people: light, slightly deeper, caramel, deep honey, bronze, light chocolate, deeper chocolate, very deep chocolate....all very beautiful hues of Black people but these avatars don't reflect that.

I would also make them to be animated, like mobile in nature; to be able to move, or when we gave a thumbs down, our facial expression on our avatar would reflect the fact that we gave an answer a thumbs down, or happy when we gave it a thumbs up.

It would be nice if we could give ratings that were of mixed, or middle grounded feelings and our avatar would reflect some half crooked-@ss grin, you know?

Thanks.

When someone uses "no picture" it;s always a man's profile and everyone automatically assumes that person is a male. I would like to see that change because answers sometimes depend on whether you are replying to a male or female.

Increase size. 160x160 minimum. Who in blazes needs avatars they can't really make out? I certainly don't, as you may have noticed.

I'd like bigger ones, and animated.

I'm always asking for that, animated ones.
