Ok... so my 15 year old sister plays video games... a lot. She pretty much plays from the time she gets home from school until around about 11 at night when she finally decides to do her homework . Oh, on a side note she is getting above average grades in school and is at the top of her class. The thing is, if anyone tries to talk to her about anything besides video games she gets angry and screams or tries to hurt that person. She doesn't always do this, just a majority of the time. Nothing to be worried about, right?

my brother, same age, is the same way. It's like he has his own little world, and everyone else doesn't get it. But we've found that if you just let him do his own thing and support it, as long as he's doing the things he's supposed to do outside of gaming, then everything is fine. Just try to understand and support her. I bet even playing a video game with her would give her the impression you want to help and care about her.
