i have this guy friend that i met through my younger sister and we instantly clicked as friends. he is sooo fun to hang out with and i really like him. things got to the point where we are really great friends now. he tells me personal things and asks my advice and vice/verse. over the past month or so, our conversations have turned from strictly friendly to pretty flirty. he told me a while ago that he is planning to move out of state in december and he asked me if i wanted to go with him. i said i would love to. then, we didn't really discuss it again. last week, he wrote to me and said:
I will buy you a garden, where your flowers can bloom.
I will buy you a new car, perfect shiny and new,
I will buy you that big house,
Way up in the west hills,
I will buy you a new life
Still want to come with me???
The words are from 'our song' by everclear. I said yes I still want to go!! CONTINUED IN ADDED DETAILS

That day he deleted his myspace account so i can't write to him anymore. He hasn't called me and when I call him, I get vcmail. Why would he ask me to move out of state with him twice, then avoid me? This is strange to me. Do you think maybe he likes me for more than a friend and is avoiding me because he knows I don't like him that way? If so, why ask me to move with him again? I don't get it. I didn't bring it up and actually took it as kind of a joke when he first mentioned it. But, I knew he was serious when he asked me a second time. I do want to move with him because I think it would be great.......but if he doesn't want me to go for real, he knows it wouldn't hurt me if he told me the truth. i don't get it!

us guys become real scared when it comes to great big commitment, you do realize that he's just asked you a very large question, he's asked you to give up your way of life to leave your comfort zone, so from a guys perspective hes' probably asking himself "what have i asked her to do,? is she serious? will i be able to take care of her? give him some time to sort things out in his head, because right now he's probably trying to take in the fact that you said yes to his offer
and i don't think he was expecting that.
