I think every road contract is given to seperate authorities like the NHAI, MMRDA or the local authority. But then how do we reach all these people in a manner that it really makes a difference. I dont want my complaint to fall on deaf ears or lie in a heap of complaints.

File a complaint against the local government that has jurisdiction over the road in bad condition for dereliction of duty.

you forgot what country you are in...
but wherever.. the effective way is to tap the mass media.. so that you will get the attentiion of your local politician.. media mileage is their priority..
