my male parakeet died and his partner still managed to produce eggs. how can i fertilize them without a male partner? do i need to buy her a new partner? can somebody help me. thank you..

you cant. the only way to produce a fertilized egg is with a mating pair.... a male and a female mating before the female lays the egg. the egg shell developes around the yolk after fertilization takes place inside the female....so yes... in order to get fertilized eggs you need a male parakeet to mate with the female

Hens will continue to lay, even if the eggs are sterile. You need a male to fertilize the egg before it is laid. Fertile eggs are unlikely to hatch unless you have a specific breeding set up for the parakeets.

Unfotunately you can not fertilze eggs without a male!How long since it's mate died?if they mated just prior to it's death they could be fertile,but the female will not sit the eggs or rear any young as it will be to much for her,if you want to breed then get another mate for her,make sure she has plenty of Cuttlefish bone and a Mineral block so that she can replace lost calcium and minerals lost due to egg laying.
