Some American politicians are trying to threaten Turkey in their own way. 'Look, we can always bring it up if and when we want to'. Let them play their own game untill they learn that they cannot play with other countries' dignity.
edit: Lady GOP, if I were a member of parliament in Ankara, I would floor a bill to condemn Armenia for all their atrocities towards Turks in 1915 and towards the Azeris lately, and ask for some land to be given to us both as compensation. I would also ask the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs to take the issue to the UN.

I'm not happy!!!!!!! Armenian-Americans can't even get a SYMBOLIC GESTURE passed in a country we live, vote and pay tax in. Wheres the humanity?
Anyways, I found this funny video blog that made light of the situation. Enjoy.

Let us see: No one wants it passed, it isn't going to be {as I have said from the beginning} and no one is happy? Every country has internal politics, and Turkey is no exception. I am sure some of the proposals there never see the light of day either. I agree, why not introduce the bill against Armenian atrocities? It is time for Turkey to take the offensive in this area also.

I don't understand how Turkey accepts a "postponement" of the efforts to pass this bill. I mean the US government says it openly, don't pass the bill, "for now". This means that they're going to pass it when they don't need Turkey as much.

Everybody knows that this isn't about the truth. This is about manipulating Turkey for US benefit.
If the bill passes, US cannot use it as a lever against Turkey any more.
So, apparently, it will not pass and it will not go away, either.
USA is fast losing psychological influence on its allies. People don't think USA is a great state and great nation any more, just another largish nation with certain interests, virtues and shortcomings. Information and logic has entered the equation. People will suspect anything USA attempts from now on.
I'm sure that was not something desirable for the administration.

As you said, it's only delayed...
Unfortunately, they will put it on the table each time they need something from us...
I just hope that someday they will really open their eyes and finally realize the total nonsense of this bill, and they will just throw it in the garbage can forever...

Mr. Bobo these kinds of countries think about only one thing: their own benefit
(I'm sorry to say this i have nothing against people i am against politics.)
Besides US can not decide for another country. They are unfortunately using this bill for so called something that has never took place to get the votes or to get money.

I agree with Jake P...the US may have postponed the Bill, but they will eventually try to pass it when they don't need us anymore. Yet, I doubt that will ever happen because the US is always needing us for something.
