Cons:
- it's very expensive
- you may not be a good candidate

Pros: can reduce or eliminate the need for glasses in most people.

Cons: not a good idea if you're over the age of 40 because you will need reading glasses if you're having it done to correct nearsightedness.
Very expensive and isn't covered by insurance.
Stronger prescriptions cost more to correct.
