Why do you worry so much about other people sex lives, like homosexuals, and people who are having sex outside of marriage! Or preying on the atheists! Forcing your views on us?
There are a great many other things you could be concentrating on, like homelessness, or hunger, or why there are so many orphans, that no one wants!
Wouldn't your time be better spent on doing things that would make a difference, than sticking your nose in people's lives?
People are not going to stop being who they are, just cuz you say so!

Just as a matter of this post, I do give to charity, and I have taken in more people into my home, than I can count! I would not have said anything about that otherwise! I am not judging you either! But, when you come on here all the time stating your views about Gays, and premarital, and sex in general, you are pushing your thoughts, onto the readers here! Just as I do when I state my opinion as well! I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on Gays, Gay marriage, and premarital sex!
But it is a great big world, and we all have our say! Don't you think??

While it is good to see that there are Christians who aren't bigoted homophobes, there is, nonetheless, a very clear majority of American society, most, though not all, of whom are Christian, who are anti-gay marriage because of their religious beliefs. I remember when it came to a vote here in California and the marriages were clarified to be "between a man and a woman" there were droves of people calling it a victory for democracy.
I remember from civics class that in our republic, we supposedly allow the majority to rule while protecting the minority. In this instance, we've clearly failed to keep the slim majority from impinging on the rights of the minority. There's no clear reason that anyone has ever been able to give me how allowing gay couples to marry would negatively affect hetero couples. The best argument is that it would affect insurance rates and taxes... yet this seems a foolish reason to deny someone the right to marry the person they love.
Religion is the primary reason most people oppose gay marriage--and religion should have nothing to do with it in a secular society. So while I do not wish to generalize, it is nonetheless a fact that religion is responsible for this and so it is valid to criticize religion for this clear violation of what ought to be a civil right for anyone.
Thanks for your time.

Plato, Will why are people worry so much about people who smoke? why are they now trying to make laws that you cant even smoke in your own home? Why are other people getting involved with other peoples kids? Just seen on TV that now some schools are handing out birth control to 11yrs old in Portland?
I am a Christians and I do not concerned myself about other peoples sex lives. But I do not want to be around people who do not live as I would feel operate. And I do have a right to think that homosexuals and having sex out side of marriage is wrong. I am not asking your opinion. I just telling you mine.
Why are you not concentrating on the homelessness or hunger people and orphans that no one wants? Can not your time be better spent? I do not want to change anyone that does not want it.

Well, truth is Christians provide over 85% of all charity on this planet of ours yet you rarely here of athiest being involved in Charity. Christians are not perfect but the difference between us and you is we don't pretend to be and if we didn't poke our noses into your affairs anarchy would eventually break out. This is why we have laws. To protect people like us from people like you. It's time to grow up a little. This isn't a touchy feely world where you can just run amuck in society doing whatever darn well pleases you. Even the normal straight people have enough sense to exorcise some restraint once in a while. Why can't you? Really, are we asking so much for you to be respectful of those around you and do your part to be apart of society instead apart from it? No one is asking you to not be you. We are only asking you to be considerate and grow up some.

What makes you think we are not concerned about the homeless, hunger, and orphans? MANY Church's have such outreach programs. My church sends food, medical aid, food, shelters, building programs to others all over the world. We have more than one or two concerns. Also..When a person sees something they feel is wrong such as gay, extramarital sex, etc. should they not say or do something? That would be like making a list of things we are, and aren't, going to take interest in. Taking interest and offering aid to all the things you list stands to show greater concern, not less.

I am a Christian and I am not concerned with what homosexuals do or how they choose to live their lives. If the immoral people want to have sex with multiple partners, that is between them and the Lord. As a Christian, I can discern from the righteous and the wicked and I decide for myself what is good and what is evil.
The Bible says: 1 John 4:1
[ Test the Spirits ] Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
However, that does not stop me from praying for them to seek the Lord whole-heartedly.
I do not push my beliefs on people who do not ask. If they want to know something, I will kindly answer them to the best of my knowledge. If they want to know more and they want my help, I will do my best as a Christian to help them get to where they need to be to receive the Lords blessings. After that, they are on their own.
Revelation 22
11 Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy."
12 "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

As a Christian, I also think about helping the poor, feeding the hungry and donating to charities.
Please do not generalize that all christians are nosy on other people's lives. I have a best friend who is gay and I accept him for who he is. I have a cousin who is gay, too. But I do not tell him how to live his own life.
The Christian community has its own stand against homosexuality and immorality because of its teachings from the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ. It is up to you to decide how you live your life. The Christian teachings do not force you to follow its guidelines. That is why we are given FREE WILL: to decide what to do with our life. According to Christian belief, Adam and Eve, the first couple created by God were given free will. God did not create a third sex creature. He created a man, and a woman. This is the Christian belief.
Nobody is forcing you to accept our views. This is no longer the age wherein people are getting imprisoned for their beliefs, the time when Christians get persecuted, and Muslims go to holy war.
This is the age of freedom of expression.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

You know, you could turn that question around also, take you, why are you worried so much about what a Christian does or doesn't so. Or trying to force your point of views on us. You have a lot more things to worry about also.
You know, atheist or not, your time could be spent doing things that would make a difference also, instead of trying to tell us how to live.
Think about it. Who is sticking whose nose in other peoples lives right now.
I think that you should take your own advice and read your last sentence to your self. God bless

Human problems are the logical and predictable result of human ignorance and human failings.
Christainity is rightly concerned with helping people to overcome their innate tendency to mess things up ... and those personal, human failings are the direct or indirect cause of all the problems you mention.
In the end, people stop doing dumb things because they finally realize it's in in their own best interest ... and that's why some people eventually stop being "who they are".
They make the necessary personal changes in order to become something much better ... and that is the whole point of Christianity.

Actually we tell you when asked about certain topics..As for Atheists, I hope all of America gives them a Special Day to celebrate, Darwin, Secular Humanism, the monkey's uncle, Nothingness and have all the decorations and party favors they can handle. Who do you suppose the Salvation Army is?
I never stick my nose into anybody's business, until they start digging into mine, like pedophiles that want to take advantage of kids, Free Spreech and Freedom to either practice a religion or not to...

Just like you people want what they believe to be heard and acknowledged by other people. No one person of a denomination should be considered to represent all of that group but I understand how you feel that sentiment from Christians since whether it is said or not it is generally known that sex before marriage/ homosexuality/ etc etc is not condoned. Christians aren't the only ones picking on people's lives so my advice would be to not mind anyone who is bringing you down and be yourself.
