Actually, the latest translations have the number of the beast as not being 666 (I think it's 616 or something like that). Lot of people are going to regret getting their tattoos .

How would it be possible in these [ time of the end ], days if anyone that knew or understood this, that it be possible he could get any one else that does not know the bible from Genesis to Revelations to understand this?

Its is the 18 digit or so number on your credit card.
Dont just go by the face value. Learn what it says.
It says that "no one will be able to buy or sell without this number."
It is also called the number of the beast.
And in bible money/wealth is the devil.
It says "You can either worship God or mamon"
mamon = money
So it all means that when mankind stops using paper money and does all transaction using numbers, then the so called doom will come :-)
BTW why you are looking for the beast and its doom. Be optimistic.

I remember hanging out in a friends basement back in the 70's doing acid, and listening to the album "666" by "Aphrodites Child"
but I don't remember much else....lol

All speculation aside, there's only one thng we can say is absolutely true about "666".
In the book of revelation, the anti-christ ... the man of sin ... and the son of perdition ... is revealed during the time of the 6th vial, and the 6th seal, and the 6th trump ... 666!
If there's any other mark, or any other name that goes with him, no one can know it in advance, except God.
In the mean time, all we can do is watch and pray.

Wisdom don't come from the brother of god, condemed from heaven and thrown into hell, being here on earth, with you and me. His number being 666, the mark of satin, evil doer of all things on earth. Wisdom came from the creator of all things, here on earth, now thats having some knowledge.

666 is the Hebrew numeric value of the name Nero. Nero was a tyrant, a ruler that had his own mother killed.Maybe John is saying that this "future" person will be like Nero,

in reference to nero caesar. the real number is 616. the whole book of revelations is written in code because of the poliitcs going on and has nothing to do with any predictions or prophesies.
basically just a way of keeping the police from knowing what the riffraff were planning.
