I'd say allergies perhaps. I don't know where you live but most of this world is changing seasons right now. It happens alot when the seasons change...(the sniffing). You don't say how old she is though, that would concern me if she's a teen (i would think drugs or something)...however if she's young then I would think allergies.

It could be asthma - that was how they diagnosed that my daughter had asthma because she was constantly sniffing and always had a runny nose or like already mentioned it could be habit - if your child has had a cold recently they could still be doing it out of habit

You don't give enough information. But I would get your child to the doctor immediately and if this child is a teen, I would consider a drug test.

Check with your GP to rule out any sort of synus congestion.

If there's nothing, it may be a habit (I know a child who did a similar thing) and it was anxiety related.

It's annoying, but hopefully will only be a phase

Allergies! Do you have pets? It could be the pet dander. It could also be a number of other things....dust, mold, pollen, ragweed, grass.....there's many things in the air that cause allergies. Take her to the doctor for an allergy test.

Drugs, allergies, tourette's ... all kinds of possibilities, many of which would need treatment. Talk to the pediatrician about it.

Make sure that there's nothing stuck up there! Beads and bits of plastic find their way into children pretty easily!

This may be due to an allergy, and would be worth checking out with your G.P.

He/She is probably allergic to something in the room. See a doctor.
