Me and my husband will be visiting nyc for christmas, and wanted to have a nice, somewhat formal dinner on christmas eve. Does anyone know of any restaurants that will be serving dinner on christmas eve? We will be staying in a hotel near Penn Station, so anywhere near that area would be great!

We enjoyed the Lobby Lounge at the Mandarin Oriental. Lots of space in between tables, and lots of attention. Although $$$$.

Check out the Ava Hotel on Broadway in Midtown for great drinks and an awsome mood setting after dinner. PS- the roof top view is amazing!

Cafe des Artistes, perfect off critical Park West (a million West 67th St.). super romantic, and the food is sumptuously scrumptious! you will desire to be a sprint dressed up, hubby would desire to placed on a minimum of a activities jacket, yet no longer required. obtain menus from their website. that is well worth hopping in a cab & going a sprint north. you would be close to Tavern on the fairway, yet do no longer flow there...the food purely isn't the comparable high quality. Then take a carriage holiday in critical Park!

Try the Marriott Marquis in the city. The View Restaurant has a revolving roof top and really good view of the city.
