I know he is sayin im too young to have a relationship with, but not too young to have sex with? My question is what can be the down falls in life that can be so bad just because of 18 year age difference?

My advice: Judge him, and think what he means. Only You can know or think best what he means. It's your choice to do what you want, make your own choices, and maybe tell him exactly what's on your mind if anything's wrong. This depends on his personality, though.

From my experience with men, he is meaning he likes you, likes the sex, but knows that you are only 19 and have a ton of things to experience. He is older and has grown up a lot. Not saying that you are immature or anything, just meaning things you enjoy doing all the time, doesn't exactly sound fun for him. He's in the age where he likes to sit at home and watch movies, he wants a family and he knows that you are too young to be doing that. You may say you would like it, but really you are not ready for that. He doesn't want to rob you of your prime years. You know the ones where you go to college, party all night, experience everything you can as much as you can. He has already done that and wants to settle down, you are just getting started and he knows this whether you think it or not. Especially when you turn 21, major turning point in your life, a ton of things will change.
It's nothing against you, it's just the age difference. I personally am 22 and my boyfriend is 28, only 6 years difference but what we enjoy doing sometimes is different from the other. I am still in my prime days and want to party sometimes and go out. He has already done that and would rather just us two sit at home and casually drink. We make a compromise that suits us both because I do not want to party all the time, I have a family to take care of.
Don't take it to heart, there are others out there that would be more than willing to settle down with you if that's what you're looking for. If you can handle not being this guy's gf then just have some fun, but keep your eyes open b/c you are single, there is no committment to this guy. Leave your options open.
If you can't deal with it, then go on and be open to others. It will hurt if you really care about him, but you will heal.

Maybe you completely misunderstood him?
I'm afraid so. You cannot be too young for relationship and old enough for sex, those two things go toghether and you are not too young for neither of them. I also don't see any problem with the age difference if two people like each other just like it is.
Maybe he just wants to know what kind of relationship you are interested in?

You know, this is a hard one, the downfall is that in his mind you don't have much life experience, but he seems to be a jerk cause he would have a sexual relationship with you but not a real relationship? I have a friend who was in the same situation once, guy was much older, so she found a new boyfriend and the "ex" married someone else and today cheats on his new wife, I think! Anyway, this may be the Universe's way of telling you to run like there is no tomorrow!!! If I were you I would try to get over him and have a relationship with someone who wants more from you than...

He is a jerk trying to avoid a commitment. If you are good enough to have sex with, you should be good enough to commit to. Tell him to hit the road. Find a guy that will respect you, and not insult your intelligence. You don't need to be wasting your life on this man.
Let me tell you what my mother said about my step father who was 18 years older than her:
"It became such a chore to look at his ugly balls hanging nearly to his knees. His **** looked as if he needed a bra, and his shoulders were humped over. He wore his pants so low that his seat looked as if there was a turd in his underwear. When he wanted to have sex, I had to play with the darn thing for almost an hour to get it up (if I was lucky), and another hour to get him off. It became such a chore to have sex, that I would try to avoid him as much as possible."
This is how my mother felt about my step father after 8 years of marriage. Think about that everytime you want to get serious with this old man. It is nice to grow old with them, but not to sit back and see them grow old way before you.

the dude has alot more experience then you and he will always will...
you see.. IF he have a friends over to have a party... who is about 37(around his age)... how are you going to interact with those men/women..? (i got this idea from a movie somewhere...)
