Somtimes they'd get small then they'd get big.
Is this a bad thing or somthing?
Cause Today my friend Abraham told me i had pretty eyes, because my pupils were big .
[my eyes are Blue/gray]
But last year we had this testing thing. To check if your spine was straight and the lady noticed i had big pupils and she asked me
"Do you do drugs"
Stupid ***** pissed me off.
So what does it mean when your pupils get really big.Randomly.?

Dilated pupils supposedly make you more sexual. Something to do with it being nighttime and dark. Conversely, your pupils will constrict or become smaller in response to light. I do think big pupils look pretty.

There is a big difference between Asians and Orientals. All orientals are Asians. but not all Asians are orientals. And some Asians do have big eyes. Most orientals have small eyes. However, some oriental women get their eyes made bigger and rounder for beautification .or because they don't want to be stereotyped as orientals with "slit" or "slanty" eyes. It has nothing to do with making the pupils bigger.

Drugs esp the recreational ones tend to dilate your pupils. That's why the tester made that remark. In addition, dilated pupils are indicative of brain damage sustained in a brain injury situation from let's say a trauma or car accident.

But big beautiful round eyes with big pupils are pretty. Says the wolf to Little Red Riding Hood : "To better see you; my dear!." Which is actually a myth; because with dilated pupils ( as when the optometrist put these drops in your eyes to dilate them) you won't be able to see.

Scientific explanation for this :
Light goes through the cornea of your eye and the lens and projects an image on the retina. On the retina there are specialized cells called rods and cones. Rods are sensitive in poor light and are developed best in nocturnal animals. such as the owls. The cones detect colors and are used during the day when there is plenty of light. Once detected by the rods and cones, the information is sent to the brain along the optic nerve. Once there, the information is translated into a visual image.

When combined, certain drugs, medications, substances or toxins may react causing dilated pupils as a symptom.

Other drugs or substances may cause your symptoms. Always advise your doctor of any medications or treatments you are using, including prescription, over-the-counter, supplements, herbal or alternative treatments

When you are startled, or surprised, your pupils can tend to dilate randomly.

Here are some things why you may have eternally-dilated pupils:

–Some sort of permanent state of arousal
– Bit more anxious than others (i.e., always in fight-or-flight mode)
– More of a sexual person
–More alert than others
–Super-slightly slipped disc somewhere on my spine which could be corrected by a chiropractor!
–Weak pigment in my retina - problems with glare as well)

People's pupils are different sizes as well. So your pupils will always look larger than other people's. This could also play a role in your pupils' looking dilated.

As for weak photoreceptors ( the rods and cones) , that would suggest that it takes more light for you to see than a normal person, which would explain why your pupils are more dilated because dilation allows more light to come into your eyes. This would probably also result in a reduced sensitivity to contrast, so when two things are very similar in lightness, you could confuse them more than a normal person. It would also make it harder for you to see in the dark, because you need more light to make your photoreceptors work, and since at normal light levels you are more dilated than normal people, you have less range.

Big Pupils

Big pupils in some instances are the side effect of car accident, duress, and may be a result of overload of artificial sweeteners. It builds in the body as a toxin. I noticed the pupils of an associate were very large whenever he saw someone under duress. It puzzled me because I had read that the pupils get big when someone likes what they see & get pinpointed when they didn't like what they saw or if they were lying. You have to take other factors into consideration. The associate also had light sensitivity programs and ingested a lot of aspartame on a daily basis. I hope this is helpful to someone.

Big pupils....a long story. When you like what you see or are aroused, intrigued, etc. then your pupils get bigger. I would assume you have a very great outlook on life and are an optimist. Don't let those people who ask you if you're on drugs get your pupils smaller. You should be proud of them.

Your pupils are responding to the light. If you are outside in bright sunlight or indoors with bright floresent lights your pupils will be small. When it gets dimmer in light your pupils get bigger to let in more light.
You might be more sensitive to light and dark.
