I feel overburdened with stress I feel to anxious most mornings to get up and deal with the world, I can’t sleep at night because I feel guilty for not going to school, and I feel stressed because I don’t know how I can survive in the world without an education, but getting one seems pointless to me, In fact this life seems pointless to me, I want so bad to believe that there is something more but I can’t seem to find it. Every job that is out there has no appeal to me because I don’t feel like I’m helping anything this is problematic because without having the motivation to work towards something I can’t go to school it’s a never ending circle that I don’t know how to come out of I feel upset all the time, and the only thing that has ever kept me going is love, but I feel so unloved lately that I can’t deal with it, I feel like I have nobody to talk to about my true nature, I’m alone in a city and I know people but I don’t want to open up to them because I don’t want to burden them.

the main problem is I feel guilty for feeling like this because my mom does everything to help the situation but I cant seem to "snap" out of it and she does not understand

which i suppose I should not feel "unloved" if she's trying to help it's just she can't understand me and therefore I feel alone, she puts pressure on me and makes me feel worse because I try to change but cant

Oh...wow...

I am in your EXACT situation... No joke.

I honestly don't know how to fix it...

I feel for you, and I hope that you can find help.

I guess the best thing to do would be to tell your loved ones...but seeing as how you/I feel so unloved alrdy, it's going to make you/me feel even worse because I feel like I'm just complaining and making it worse when I open up...

But...what have you got to lose?

Good luck.

EDIT: I really, REALLY hate people that sift through the questions, then cut and paste an exceprt from WebMD as an answer based on the Question header, instead of reading the question, too.

Man, I truly feel your pain. I'm also going on to junior year, so I know how this can be. 1. Its looming over your head so much because you are looking at it as a whole, instead of parts. You should either work on the homework subject by subject, or break small pieces from each assignment. Try not to work more than 30-60 minutes at a time (unless you feel like your on a roll, then get as much done as possible). And whatever you do, don't wait until the last week to get started. 2. I like Harry Potter as much as anyone else, but there is always something better out there. Some authors you may enjoy are Garth Nix, Eoin Colfer, and Jonathan Stroud. Just browse the library, your bound to find a new series to enjoy. 3. Exercise is a definite must if you want to lose a few pounds (it'll also help with the stress, with the whole endorphine thing going on). And when eating take your time. It takes about 20 minutes for your stomach to tell the brain " I'm full". [insert comment saying veggies+fruit=good] 4. Its best not to worry about it. Is there anything you can do about it right now? Not really. When the year starts up just listen to the teacher and study. If you keep it up you should do just fine. Good Luck!

I have been/still am somewhat, on this path. For me to face a day was horrible. I got a job working nights so that i was able to go home, shower and go to class then go home and sleep. This was/is my way of getting through the day of classes, work and also hiding out. I don't have to be judged by people if i work nights and i don't have to start the day by getting up and contemplating all that i do not add, so being in bed is better. I just go through the motions and soon the day is over and i feel as if i have accomplished so much and can go to sleep easier in the afternoon and get up and start again with the day of homework, then getting ready to go to work, on to class and then time to sleep. I have had to take breaks from this type of schedule, but it did get me into a pattern of sleeping and continuously attending class which lessened my guilt and my grades started to go up, along with self worth. Good luck to you!

See depression, stress, and insomnia treatments, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris on pages 2, 42, and 3. Contact your county/local mental health agency, and see what they can offer by way of counselling. When you are feeling better, reconsider what you are going to do with your life: aptitude tests and vocational guidance may help.

being human is so complicated.
Were all still trying to figure out the human mind
...bloody mystery

I've dealt with negetiviy, bouts of depression all my teenage/young adult life
meds do alleviate the tension momentarily, the lift is nice, but usually nothing lasts forever
and once your off chemicals its a matter of sheer will power.

I wish you the best

You need to find someone to talk about all your feelings about everything. Someone who won't judge but will listen. So like a counselor or something. Then you'll probably feel better!
