Actually Nusta,pizza is very American,it was created and first made here, not in Italy.
As for the question, I will join in on the celebration by first doing an hour long happy dance then who knows maybe a drink or two.
Actually Nusta,when I lived in Europe one of my room mates was Italian and loved to cook authentic Italian for us. The only time I had pizza there was when I hit the local pizza hut. She didn't make it because it wasn't true Italian but an American thing.
In addition,I have a grandparent who is full Italian, straight from Italy and if she were still alive would be giggling at you.

I'll certainly be ecstatic. I want to see U.S. law respected. I want all systems of law respected, if they first respect those subject to their jurisdiction.
The first thing I'd do is get with my neighbors in the U.S. and neighbors OF the U.S., in Canada and Mexico to figure out a way to send the criminals causing their most destructive ills as far out of the way as possible.
Then, with their agreement, I'd hope for economic and social advancement for all of us. BUT!!!! The United States would keep ITS currency as would all the rest of us. Unless an alternative came about that was simply irresistible.
Oh. And by the way. To saukerl: Did you ever stop to ask and consider WHY these stupendous, magnificent, "Poor-little-victimized-Mexico" arguments lay dormant for a hundred fifty years? And that they only surfaced with the coinciding of (A) powerful U.S. economic might, (B) an unjustifiably rampant growth of the non-English-speaking, lawless population, and (C) a senseless mis-use of funds within Mexico despite the discovery, there, of billions of barrels of oil, tons of gold, endless coastline value, etc?
Could it be that your Pity Party Music is just a bit too loud? To the point of driving you deaf to reality?

By going after all those who contributed to illegal delinquency. Like the real estate brokers,corrupt lawyers, greedy employers & woosy polititians, & making public exposer of them. And striping them of their licenses & their positions. What a day that will be. End of story!!!!!!!!!

I would then be reassured that my country still stands for all of the things that my ancestors fought for not a bunch of illegal interlopers who tried to destroy our nation. I wouldn't need a party, American life is good enough for me.

As far as I know, pizza is Italian, so when you have your party, first of all you should say thank you to all the people who chose USA to make a new start.
Pizza very American? :) I would not recommend to say that in front of any Italian, Italian immigrants brought pizza to USA. The double consonant (zz) says it all!
